My phuntsokcholing

Lama Jigmé and Phuntsok Chö Ling are involved in several projects. Below an overview.

Phuntsok Chö Ling

Phuntsok Chö Ling is an open Buddhist center in the Netherlands. Everyone is welcome to come and learn about meditation and the Buddhist path. We organize lectures, study mornings, retreats and offer a wide class program. You can take classes and continue studying at different levels.

Center Culturel Tibétain Luxembourg

Tibetan cultural center Luxembourg wants to build a bridge between Tibetan culture and Luxembourg society. The center is committed to the well-being of people, organizations and society and strives to preserve this unique culture of wisdom for future generations.

Phuntsok Namgyal Ling

The Phuntsok Namgyal Ling Foundation is currently raising funds to purchase a piece of land in Europe. Ideally, this will be situated in a remote, natural location, with fertile soil to grow crops and keep animals. Whether near the coast or in the mountains, this place will provide a space not only for organic farming, but also a residential meditation retreat center for monastics and lay practitioners alike.

Golog Support Foundation

The Golog Support Foundation was established on the initiative of Lama Jigmé. The purpose of this foundation is to promote education and health care in the Tibetan region of Golog. This is the native region of Lama Jigmé, a very poor area where all help is welcome. The foundation was established in June 2007 and is independent. It does not depend on any religious or political organization. More information about the Golog Support Foundation can be found here.

Compassionate Leadership

Compassion is a central value in the ancient Tibetan Buddhist culture. In Tibet organizations are also built on this value as the main foundation. These organizations face the same dilemmas as Western organizations. But Tibetan organizations often opt for other solutions, which are nevertheless very effective. Compassionate Leadership brings Western organizations in contact with representatives of this culture, with their own values, strategies and approach.
