Phuntsok Chö Ling was founded by the Tibetan Buddhist teacher Lama Jigmé Namgyal. All his activities and earnings are dedicated to the memory of his teacher Khenpo Jigmé Phuntsok Rinpoche. The name Phuntsok Chö Ling was given to the center by Kyabjé Trulshik Rinpoche, the teacher of HH the 14th Dalai Lama, who passed away in 2011.
