In the meditation course, our experienced teacher Lama Jigmé Namgyal shares the core principles of meditation in a warm and understandable way so that you can grow step by step at your own pace.

In our authentic Tibetan Buddhist temple we welcome everyone with an interest in meditation, both beginners and advanced. Real meditation has nothing to do with temporarily feeling good. Feelings change continuously. In true meditation you are still disturbed by emotions and thoughts, but you are able to increasingly remain in a calm, stable and clear state of mind. About the meditation teacher

Lama Jigmé Namgyal grew up in a nomadic family in the eastern part of Tibet, where he studied Buddhism from an early age. His main teacher was Khenpo Jigmé Phuntsok, with whom he studied at the University of Serthar Larung Gar.

Lama Jigmé has taught a wide audience in recent years; from young people at university to people in the business community, visitors to museums, military personnel, students in yoga schools, and delinquents in detention centers. His special sense of humor allows him to transfer his knowledge in an open and direct manner. He has the unique talent to not only teach you about meditation, he also gives you practical tools that can enrich your life in many ways.

Practical information

Lama Jigmé himself will be present twice during the course. On the other evenings you focus deeper on the experience of meditation. With this basis you can easily set up your own daily practice at home. Have you been familiar with meditation for some time? Then this is an excellent opportunity to further stabilize and deepen your practice.
