On Saturday the 10th of June we will participate in the Heilige Huisjes Festival 23! Various activities will take place in the temple and foyer.

Heilige Huisjes Rotterdam started in 2022 on the initiative of the Kerkvernieuwers and the Municipality of Rotterdam. The festival is intended to lower the threshold for residents of the city to (re)experience their religious heritage, to unite managers of these places of worship in sustainable networks that together can appeal to new target groups with innovative programming and to better promote Rotterdam’s cultural and social institutions.

Above all, Heilige Huisjes as a festival is intended to explore a new perspective together with municipalities, their inhabitants and managers of religious heritage on a modern role that places of worship can play in the field of culture, spirituality and social gathering.

Program

During this ‘open day’ there will be various guided tours in the temple, (open)meditation sessions, and there will be a beautiful performance singer Hedi Carle in the Foyer while enjoying a snack and drink.
